Presented through ProAC ICMS and sponsored by EMERSON, the Estrela de Natal Christmas Concert is an annual public event that brings the magic of Christmas to thousands of people in the city of Sorocaba.

On December 20, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., Carlos Alberto de Souza Park in Sorocaba was transformed into a spectacular open-air stage for a celebration of the magic of Christmas. The Estrela de Natal Christmas Concert was a free, open and inclusive event, created to delight families, children, young people, adults and seniors alike.

Featuring 30 voices from the Madrigal UNISO Choir, conducted by maestro Cadmo Fausto, and accompanied by a 12-piece orchestra, the performance brought together music, theatre and emotion in an unforgettable evening. The production also featured large LED screens broadcasting the performance live, allowing everyone in the audience to experience every detail of the show, even from a distance.

The performance combined traditional Christmas songs with a playful and moving theatrical narrative. A clumsy elf, searching for the true meaning of Christmas, guided the audience on a symbolic journey that culminated in the triumphant arrival of Santa Claus.

The musical programme included beloved songs such as Sinos de Belém, Noite Azul, Halleluya and Noite Feliz. Performed live by the choir and orchestra, the songs were part of an immersive audiovisual experience that moved and delighted audiences of all ages.

About Madrigal UNISO and Maestro Cadmo Fausto

Founded in 2004 through an initiative by maestro Cadmo Fausto and the University of Sorocaba (UNISO), Madrigal UNISO is a choir renowned for the quality and diversity of its repertoire, encompassing sacred, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical and popular works.

The ensemble has performed at celebrations, conferences and festivals throughout Sorocaba and the surrounding region, consistently captivating audiences with its powerful performances.

Cadmo Fausto is a pianist, conductor, arranger, musical theatre creator and university professor, with extensive experience in musical and performing arts projects.

The Estrela de Natal Christmas Concert is an annual production by Gávea Cultural, sponsored by Emerson, a global leader in technology and innovation. With the support of the City of Sorocaba, the event brought together thousands of people and has established itself as a highlight of the city's cultural and Christmas calendar.
